Peter Loring - Film and Video Lighting Cameraman Between 1974 and 1978 I attended Bournmouth Film School. Following that i obtained work at the BBC Film Unit. here i developed considerable experience in all aspects of television work, both on film and video. I have worked on most of the programme areas within the BBC with the exception of news. I am probably best know within the Documentary, Entertainment, Children's, Music and Arts and Education Departments. I also have experience shooting Drama and Natural History. In 1997 I became the first, and still the only, person to chive 2 level 4 NVQ's in Film and Television Photography and Lighting. I am well known for my sense of tact, discretion and patience, particularly when filming in difficult situations. When BBC Film Unit closed in April 2000 I continued my career as a freelance Cameraman, and have been enjoying the freedom that it has given me. I have a working knowledge of the French language. I am an experienced traveler, spending several months of each year working abroad. I am also a qualified first aider. |
