HISTORY:

Between the ages of 10 to 16 I made my own films on Super 8mm film, one of which was shown in full, on a network BBC programme about young filmmakers.

I started my professional career in 1983 at HTV Bristol as a trainee camera operator. I was trained in live studio, OB, ENG, PSC and film camera operation. I then worked on a multitude of regional and network programmes, from light entertainment and music shows, to news, current affairs, documentary, and drama productions. All theses skills gave me an excellent and busy start into the freelance world in 1990.

Since leaving I have concentrated on lighting camera work, and in that time acquired a wealth of experience and built on my knowledge to provide a professional service that leading Broadcasters expect. I have also built up good working relationships with many Directors and TV companies on a variety of programmes worldwide. I have had broadcast credits on all main terrestrial channels.

I take pride in my work and I have plenty of enthusiasm undertaking the job that I love.
